- Ready Check for all 6 device kinds
- “It’s missing now” steps, always free
- A private plan of 2 devices with their playbooks
For the phones, tablets and computers in your home
Lost Hour gets every device in your home ready to be found, and writes each one its own step-by-step plan: where to look it up, how to lock it, who to call, which numbers the police will ask for.
Find My, Find Hub or Find my device; a screen lock; a backup. The Ready Check shows the exact settings path for each kind of device, with the maker’s own help page beside it.
Serial numbers and IMEIs are what police and carriers ask for, and you can’t read them off a phone you no longer have. Your plan keeps them, sealed under your private link.
Locate before you lock, lock before you call, and erase last: on Android a factory reset ends Find Hub, and Apple says an erase can’t be undone.
Free, no sign-up, nothing stored.
Start one with no account and no email: you get a private link. Add each device once, with its serial, IMEI, carrier and which account locates it, and tick off its Ready Check. Each device then has its own filled-in “it’s missing” page, and the household card prints every number on one sheet.
The device list is encrypted with a key that comes from your link. Lost Hour’s database stores only a fingerprint of the link, never the link itself, so a lost link can’t be recovered. What that protects, and what it doesn’t.
