LostHour

About

What Lost Hour is, and what it is not

Lost Hour is a planning tool for the phones, tablets and computers a household owns. It does two jobs: it tells you which settings to turn on before anything goes missing, and it lays out the first hour of steps when something does, using each maker’s own free locate and lock service.

What it is not

  • Not a tracker. Lost Hour never knows where any device is. It links you to Apple’s, Google’s and Microsoft’s own pages, where you sign in yourself.
  • Not mobile device management (MDM). It installs nothing, enrols nothing, and cannot lock or erase anything. Work and school devices are handled by the organisation that issued them.
  • Not affiliated with Apple, Google, Microsoft or Mformation. Lost Hour is not “The Device Management Company” and is not device-management (MDM) software. Their product names are used only to say which setting to look for. Menu names change between versions; the maker’s page linked beside every step is the source.

Where the facts come from

Every step cites the maker’s own support page, checked on 13 October 2026. If a step and the maker’s page ever disagree, follow the maker’s page.

Who runs it

Lost Hour is built and run by WeldonPC (weldonpc.com) at the address devicemanagement.info.
